Daniel Lichtman is an artist who considers the lone creator of self-initiated public content, as well as the fantasies, dramatics and constructions of freedom involved in producing and believing in an imagined audience. Recent projects include Open Sessions, The Drawing Center, NY; Get Straight or Die, Dynamo Arts, Vancouver (solo exhibition); and Moving Performances, Oxford University. He is currently a Media Arts fellow at BRIC, Brooklyn and has upcoming shows at Guest Projects, North Carolina and Hercules Project Space, NY.
